Privacy Policy
Updated:
In this policy, "we" means BanglaBiodata. We explain in plain language what we store about you, why, and what you can do about it.
In short
- We never sell your data.
- Only you can see your biodata — unless you turn on a share link or choose to publish it on ZutiMatch.
- Your mobile number is always hidden on share links.
- You can permanently delete all your data, including your account, at any time.
What we store
Account details. Your email address when you sign in, and your Google account name if you sign in with Google.
Biodata details. What you type into the form — name, date of birth, education, occupation, family, expectations, contact details and so on — plus the template and settings you choose.
Photo. If you add a photo, it is cropped and resized on your own phone or computer, and its hidden details (including GPS location) are removed before upload. A blurred copy is also stored for share links.
Consent records. If you choose to publish on ZutiMatch: when you agreed, which wording you agreed to, and when you withdrew.
Download records. Which biodata was downloaded, in which format (PDF or image), and when.
Short-lived security data. To prevent abuse, some actions (like creating PDFs) are counted per account or IP address. These counts are deleted within two days.
Drafts on your device. A biodata written without signing in stays in your browser on that device only; it is not sent to our servers.
Why we store it
To let you create, save, download and share biodatas; to publish on ZutiMatch when you ask us to; and to protect the service from abuse. We do not use your biodata details for advertising.
Who we share it with
We use a few service providers to run BanglaBiodata. They receive data only to do this work for us:
- Supabase — database, sign-in and photo storage (servers in South Korea).
- Vercel — hosting the website and creating PDFs.
- Google — if you sign in with Google.
- Cloudflare (Turnstile) — checking that requests come from people, not bots.
- Google Analytics and Meta (Facebook) Pixel — only if you accept cookies; see below.
ZutiMatch receives your biodata only if you choose "publish on ZutiMatch". Once you stop publishing, it is no longer shared.
We do not share your data with anyone else unless the law requires it.
Cookies and analytics
Some cookies and browser storage are essential, for example to keep you signed in and remember your draft. Google Analytics and Meta Pixel load only if you accept them. They tell us which pages are visited — but no biodata details are ever sent to them, and they never run on shared biodata pages. You can change your choice any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.
How long we keep it
Your biodatas, photos, consent records and download records are kept until you delete them. Deleting a biodata also deletes its photos, share link, consents and download records.
Your rights
- See and edit your biodata at any time.
- Turn off a share link.
- Withdraw from ZutiMatch.
- Delete all your data, optionally including your account, from the "My biodatas" page.
- Ask us questions or make a complaint about your data.
Biodatas about someone else
Many people make a biodata for a family member. If you do, get that person's permission — especially before sharing it or publishing it on ZutiMatch. A biodata also names other family members; don't include more about them than needed.
Age
BanglaBiodata is for adults (18 or older). Biodatas for minors are not allowed.
Security
Your data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Each account can only access its own data, and photos are kept in private storage and shown only through short-lived links. Still, no system on the internet is perfectly secure — so never put your National ID number or full home address on a biodata.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and its date. For significant changes, especially to what publishing on ZutiMatch means, we will ask for your consent again.
