Toran · Vermilion marriage biodata template

Mango-leaf toran, festive colours, optional "Shree Shree"

Toran opens with a garland like the one over a wedding-house door: mango leaves and marigolds hanging from a string across the top of the page. Below it come an optional "Shree Shree", a small label reading "Biodata of the groom" or "bride", and your name in large letters, with your photo in a double frame on the right. Each section title sits on a coloured band and the details in soft tinted boxes.

Who is this template for?

Toran is for families who want the auspicious feel of a Hindu wedding in their biodata. Mango leaves and marigolds are familiar good-luck symbols at Bengali weddings, so parents feel at home with it. There is room for gotra, caste and horoscope details as well.

What's included?

  • Five colours: vermilion, saffron, maroon, purple and forest green
  • A garland of mango leaves and marigolds across the top
  • Optional "Shree Shree" and religious section
  • Section titles on coloured bands, details in soft boxes

When to choose Toran · Vermilion

Choose Toran when the proposal goes through the family and you want the biodata to feel festive at first glance. For a plain or office-like look, Clean or Frame suit better.

Tips for the best result

To hide "Shree Shree", turn off the religious heading in the "Arrange & settings" step. The photo sits in a tall frame, so a straight, shoulder-length photo looks best. Vermilion or maroon print beautifully in colour, while saffron or purple are popular for sharing on the phone.

Frequently asked questions

Can I add gotra and horoscope details?
Yes. Fill in gotra, caste, rashi or horoscope details in the religious section and they appear in their own section.
How does Toran look in a black-and-white print?
It prints fine, but the leaves and flowers lose their colour. If you only print in black and white, Minimal or Frame's black-and-white colour is a better choice.
Will changing the colour remove my details?
No. Changing the colour in the "Arrange & settings" step only changes the colour; everything you wrote stays the same.
